Youth Leadership Summit 2017

We are so excited to announce that Registrations are now open for the 2017 Magic Moments Youth Leadership & Business Summit. Our last summit, held in July 2016, was a huge success with over 200 youth attending. We encourage you to take a look at all our pages on the website about the Youth Summit so you can get more information about the program. We have already have a massive amount of enquiries after the success of the last program so we encourage you to register quickly to avoid missing out.

2017 Summit – Event Details

  • WHAT: 5 days and 4 nights of amazing speakers, life lessons and knowledge shared to help our young people create strategies to determine and achieve their goals. Included are all meals (lunch Friday to lunch Tuesday), accommodation & materials. The Summit will be held from Friday 6th of July to Tuesday 10th of July, 2018 at The Collaroy Center, Collaroy, NSW.
  • INVESTMENT: Only $1427.00 for 5 days including meals, accommodation and all event & course materials. This also includes a pre event webinar, the 6 week post event Leadership Challenge and 11 months of post event webinars by our fantastic speakers, keeping everyone on track! And for our new attendees:
    Early Bird Rate – Register and Pay by 31st of October – $1497 inc GST.
    Regular Rate – From 1st of November – $1697 inc GST.
  • TRANSPORT: You need to make your own way to the venue in Collaroy Beach, Sydney. We will have coach transfers between the Venue and Sydney Airport. The coach transfer cost is $33 per transfer. If you would like to book a coach transfer you will need to arrive at Sydney Airport on Friday 30th June between 6am and 9:30am – we will have crew at the airport to meet all the youth. If you would like a coach transfer to depart from the event you will need to book a flight departing on or after 7.30pm on Tuesday 4th July. You can book the coaches during the application process or anytime up to the 1st of June 2017. We will also have crew to put all the youth on the planes to make their way home again. At the conclusion of the Summit, we also have coaches dropping off in the Sydney CBD at Central Station for any youth catching trains or meeting family or friends.
  • HOW: Please move to the section below that best describes your situation and find the link to register online.  For instance, there are three registration options including (1) New Attendees from Australia, (2) New Attendees- International (incl.NZ) and (3) Graduates.  A graduate is a young person aged 15-20 years of age who has previously attended a Magic Moments Youth Leadership and Business Summit.  A Graduate may have also attended our graduate program previously. The application for all attendees is quite extensive and you need to have the information to hand about your emergency contacts, health and dietary requirements and why you would like to attend the Summit. It may take between 10 and 30 minutes to complete the information depending on your personal circumstances. If you are flying in you DO NOT NEED TO HAVE YOUR FLIGHT DETAILS TO REGISTER. During this application process you will be able to book coach transfers to and from the airport. All New Youth International will need to make payment via pay pal or credit card before your application can be completed.

  • Increases their self–esteem so they are more confident to cope with the challenges of life.

  • Constantly teaches the new skills that motivate and empower them.

Hello everyone! Tonight I’m receiving the Kooyong Student Prize Award from Josh Frydenberg MP. The award is for academics but is mostly for the extracurricular and leadership activities i complete outside of school time, or to help around the school! I talked to my year level about MMF today. Did a 10 minute presentation on what we did there and what an incredible experience it was. I felt amazing afterwards and I wasn’t even nervous when talking at all. Next week im talking at my house assembly about Fear and what stops us from ‘taking a leap of faith’

Today, I did something I won’t ever forget and it has helped me grow us a person and into the leader I want to be. For my organ donation campaign “Give Life Life Live” I went and presented to The Peninsula School a private school around the corner from my school. As I was getting on stage to talk, I could feel my chest tighten and my hands started to shake but I was not going to let that stop me! I looked fear right in the eye and said no I can do this, just breathe. So I then presented the best I ever have to around 450 people…. I wouldn’t have been able to that if Magic Moments didn’t give me those tools to do so! So thank you.

I love feeling the accomplishment of completing things! especially those things that you have said ‘no way i can not do that!!’ about 🙂 I’m feeling this about school work right now and now i am over the moon because i finally finished it.. but my point is that it reminded me about camp! The board challenge, as soon as Brent showed what we were doing with the board i automatically said ‘there is no way i will be able to do that!’ after that night I have eliminated so many ‘i can’t do that’ in my life and replaced them with ‘I can do this!’

The Magic Moments Anthem by Kristen Sharma

Kristen Sharma has done it again with her song Shine for the Magical Moments organization in Australia. Kristen is a multiple award winning entrepreneur and a singer/songwriter from the United States of America who is known around the world for creating beautiful music for good causes. She has written and performed music for the largest women’s conference in the USA (The California Women’s Conference) and opened for 5 time Grammy Award winner TobyMac. She has also co-written and recorded with #1 singer/songwriter Eliot Sloan, and has been a guest singer/speaker for the Anthony Robbins Global Youth Leadership Summit where she had 350 youth from 21 countries singing arm-in-arm her original songs of love and peace. Her mission is to heal and inspire 1 billion people around the world with her voice and music. She is the creator of the Shine project, co-writer of the Shine song and lead vocalist.
