Introduction

The last ‘Discovery Camp’ held in the US in August 2005, was a total transformation for many of the children. All were affected. We have a video that will give you goosebumps! Seeing the children at registration, their replies when asked “Why are you here?” were much the same. “My mum sent me” “My mum wants me to be a better person”, “To learn how to be a leader”. What you see is an assortment of kids with enormous potential. But they are unaware.

At the end of the program, the video shows astounding transformation! One girl stood up to share “All my life I have told myself I can’t. Today, I told myself I could – and I did!” Another 16 year old boy imparted “I never knew life could be like this – I am never, ever, going back to a street gang!”
